Kilomo and Nzeveni Primary Schools in Mavindini ward preparing for tree growing

Earlier today, Pupils from Kwa Kilomo Primary school & Nzeveni pri School both in Mavindini ward, Kanthuni Sub ward during an exercise to prepare holes for planting trees before breaking for December holiday.

Restoring and enhancing the aesthetic beauty of the Environment is our responsibility.

We will be sharing over hundred seedlings donated by Konza Technopolis with them in support of regreening our environment.

We believe encouraging our children to plant trees at young age will have a very positive impact in future on how afforestation and reafforestation will take place as well reduction of the damage being done to our environment through illegal tree cutting.
