Tree planting at Kibwezi Teachers Training College

Our founder CECM lands Dr. Nzilani James, CECM Gender and our members planting two ceremonial trees and 30 other trees at Kibwezi Teachers Training College in partnership with the Makueni County government, KEFRI, Equity Bank Kenya Kibwezi, KCB Group Kibwezi and community members.

This was a great opportunity for CECM environment to demonstrate how tree seedling potting plastic papers can be safely removed for re-use in creating new tree nurseries.

To ensure the trees growth to maturity the Director of Kibwezi Teachers training college promised to ensure they are watered and taken care of until fully grown to depend on rain water.
